Profound knowledge, amicable nature and sincere approach is Dr. Urmila Nischal. Dr. Urmila did her early studies from Mumbai and has been a distinction student since her younger age. She joined the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital for her undergraduate course in 1996 and finished her MBBS course in First Class in 2002. Dr. Urmila persuaded her Post Graduation in Dermatology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai which is one of the 8 Centres of Excellence for Rare Diseases in India. She accomplished many publications and rendered papers during various state and national conferences during her residency. Dr. A. C. Parikh Award was conferred on Dr. Urmila for her paper presented at the National Conference of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists in 2007. Her enthusiasm, dedication and academic achievements brought her the coveted Best Resident Award 2007. She also bagged prizes for her posters and quiz at state and national Dermatology CMEs.

In 2008, she was awarded Scholarship by Stiftung Dermatologikum, Hamburg, Germany to pursue Post Doctoral Fellowship in Dermatology. Dr. (Prof) Volker Steinkraus and Dr. Almut Böer-Auer mentored her further learnings at Dermatologikum.

Dr. Urmila Nischal picked up the Aesthetic Dermatology flavour while working as a Consultant Dermatologist at Kaya Skin Clinic, Bengaluru. This swiftly transformed in starting an independent practice along with Dr. Nischal. Nirmal Skin and Hair Clinic was a career offspring to Drs. Urmila and Nischal in 2008. Started as a small centre catering to dermatology and aesthetic concerns, their sheer commitment to patients, rational and ethical practice led to need for bigger centre within a short span of 5 years. New centre opened in 2012 saw the introduction of various lasers and other aesthetic therapies. As an ardent teacher, Dr. Urmila started training fellow colleagues and junior dermatologists in these techniques and treatments. Dr. Urmila has great organizing skills and has been a part of Organizing Committee of state, national and international Dermatology and Dermatosurgery conferences.

Year 2021, has been a year of Transformation with Nirmal Skin and Hair Clinic shifting to a sprawling 7500 sft premise. Dr. Urmila worked upon the finer details of the State-of-Art Aesthetic Clinic to make their clients experience pleasant and cherishable !!
